Since 2018, this award-winning series has played a key role in communicating grant-funded discoveries to a broad audience, including and beyond subject matter specialists.

Distributed by ABC News.com, CuriosityStream and WIRED TV, among others, the SOI videos reach a global audience of tens of thousands of viewers worldwide.

The SOI series has a proven track record of success, garnering multiple national accolades from prestigious establishments including the Emmy-Sharecare Awards, Telly Awards, and Jackson Wild — considered the Oscars of Science/Environmental storytelling.
