Exploraciones Sobre La Libertad (Explorations on Freedom) is an international scholarly colloquium program hosted by Universidad Francisco Marroquín (UFM) that seeks to foster deeper knowledge and connections among the educators and entrepreneurs shaping the future of liberty in the Americas.

With this project, directed by Ramón Parellada, TWCF will partner with UFM to support this program; specifically, the development and execution of three international Socratic colloquia in 2025.

Exploraciones Sobre La Libertad was launched two decades ago by UFM in Guatemala City, Guatemala. During this time, the series has hosted 145 international colloquia in Spanish engaging over 875 individual participants from 30 countries across the Americas and Europe.

The series seeks to provide opportunities to academics and entrepreneurs in Spanish-speaking countries to engage in critical discourse with themes surrounding liberal principles. The colloquia also aims to support capacity building with a network of scholars. These scholars will be trained to  to develop and host regional convenings to cultivate an active network of Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs and educators who are more deeply informed about the classical liberal tradition.
