Lyford Cay Foundations, the University of The Bahamas and the University of Virginia seek to support a project which will lead to greater accessibility of Bahamian government data. This project, led by Nicola Virgill at Lyford Cay Foundations, co-directed by Lane Rasberry at UVA School of Data Science, aims to map and catalog the current and potential data outputs of governmental data producers. The team then plans to transform a selection of key government data into more usable and visualized formats.

They will do this by:

1. Completing a mapping of data and data producers

2. Hosting a workshop to validate initial data map

3. Selecting key data for visualization that will be displayed on a website for public consumption
