Recent advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies signal a disruptive phase with transformative potential across sectors. This study will delve into the measurement of AI's tangible impact on entrepreneurship.

First, the project team will test whether AI democratizes entry into entrepreneurship by dismantling important barriers that have been shown to penalize disproportionately female and minority individuals. They will explore which types of entrepreneurs benefit the most from AI’s recent advancements.

Second, the team will develop a curated AI taxonomy and scales to document the ways and the degree to which AI technologies are effectively permeating innovation and society.

This work aims to contribute to the understanding of AI's societal transformation, using the startup ecosystem as a lens to observe these changes.
