In 2016, Templeton World Charity Foundation (TWCF) announced a major investment in Diverse Intelligences (DI). DI sought to build a new international community of scholars interested in bridging disciplinary boundaries to understand both the fundamental nature of intelligence and its diverse expressions in humans, animals and machines. This investment was bold in its scope, scale, and approach and the Foundation has invited Worldview Studio to assess DI’s outputs, outcomes, and impacts to date.
Worldview Studio is a collective of brain and behavioral scientists, human-centered designers, and multimedia producers, led by Brie Linkenhoker. The team at Worldview Studio will assess:
The processes used to convene the DI community, prioritize research foci and develop key frameworks for understanding intelligence will also be assessed by the team. Worldview Studio will also capture stories from a diverse set of grantees about how their understanding of intelligence is being shaped by their involvement in DI, and about some of the most exciting questions about intelligence on the horizon.
