Development
Our strategy, Innovations for Human Flourishing, is focused on research aimed at improving key aspects of human flourishing.
Development supports translating findings into practical innovations such as new practices or interventions. Later stages include testing innovations in real-world conditions and tool development. These kinds of projects are often funded under the Priorities: Big Questions in Classrooms, Global Innovations for Character Development, and The Science of Religious and Spiritual Exercises.
Encouraging critical thinking among students and teachers about how different types of knowledge relate.
Supporting research on the contribution of character strengths to human flourishing.
Expanding scientific understanding of the impact of these practices on individuals, and supporting spiritual innovations to promote human flourishing.
