Virginia Cooper is the Principal Advisor for the Listening and Learning in a Polarized World initiative. She supports identifying, developing, and evaluating high-potential research and implementation projects related to this initiative. Virginia is also an Advisor for Programs in Discovery Science.
Prior to joining our team, she worked as a Program Associate in the Department of International Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she coordinated multi-site research projects in Peru and Bolivia. She has also worked with humanitarian organizations such as Mercy Corps and Team Rubicon.
She holds a Master of Science in Public Health and a certificate in Humanitarian Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and biology from Howard University.
