Tracey Farquharson is a Senior Program Officer at Templeton World Charity Foundation. She is responsible for program development and management of the foundation’s Individual Freedom and Free Markets and Character Virtue Development funding areas including budget, financial management, relationship building, partnerships, and initiative design. This also includes management of key current priorities, including the Economics and Human Flourishing priority and the Global Innovations for Character Development initiative. Tracey also works on developing grants and projects with the foundation’s local and regional partners, including grant development in The Bahamas, the Caribbean, and Latin America. She also has oversight of the annual Laws of Life Essay Competition in partnership with The Bahamas Ministry of Education and Technical and Vocational Training. Tracey holds a doctorate in curriculum and instruction from Nova Southeastern University and has over 20 years of experience in teaching and teacher training. Tracey formerly served as Head of School Operations at Lyford Cay International School, where she had oversight of the lower school, as well as the school’s accreditation processes with the Council of International Schools and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. Tracey also served as a workshop leader and as a site evaluator for both of these organizations, conducting school visits in South America, the United States, and Bermuda.
