Lashanti conducted research and grassroots advocacy to inform policy about natural resources in Bahamian ecosystems.
Lashanti Jupp is a Program Associate with Templeton World Charity Foundation, where she supports the Global Advocacy Launch division of the foundation. She is responsible for all administrative tasks related to Launch grants, as well as helping to devise advocacy strategies, and support on consideration of new grants for dissemination, amplification and advocacy for the foundation priority areas.
Prior to joining Templeton World Charity Foundation, as Marine Conservationist and Science Communicator, Lashanti conducted research and grassroots advocacy to inform policy about natural resources in Bahamian ecosystems. Lately she has worked in government relations, as well as, strengthening organizational and community partnerships.
She earned a BSc. in Marine Biology from Barry University in North Miami, Florida and holds an MPhil. in Conservation Leadership from University of Cambridge in Cambridge, UK.
